Tentatively, Thomas to start Tar Heels' season on the bench
Posted Nov 18, 2005
The one player on his roster who started a game last season likely won't start Saturday. North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams wouldn't write it in ink, but he penciled in his five starters Thursday afternoon for Saturday's season-opening game against Gardner-Webb. Senior David Noel and junior Reyshawn Terry will take the Smith Center floor at 8 p.m. with three freshmen: 6-9 center Tyler Hansbrough, 6-5 shooting guard Marcus Ginyard and 6-3 point guard Bobby Frasor.
