It was one of the more dramatic games in Kenan Stadium history, and UNC hung in there behind quarterback Darian Durant and running back Chad Scott. The Tar Heels moved the ball to Miami's 25 with four seconds left and the score tied 28-28. Connor Barth booted a 42-yard field goal for the win, one of the most memorable kicks in UNC history.
