Hospital Hits Home for Tar Heels
Posted Nov 18, 2005
North Carolina's basketball team visited the UNC Children's Hospital Thursday night after practice. It was part of their annual Thanksgiving deliveries that are sponsored by former Tar Heels Antawn Jamison, Jerry Stackhouse, and Brendan Haywood. The alums provide approximately 100 gift bags, the current players provide the time and the autographs, and the children and their parents provide the perspective.
