Late-round Tar Heel NFL Draft success stories

Football players don’t need to be a first round draft pick to have a great NFL career. Tar Heels of the past have enjoyed success in the NFL despite late selections. Two former UNC players are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Lawrence Taylor was 1981's second overall pick, while Chris Hanburger was selected in a round that doesn’t even exist anymore.
