College basketball total attendance has advanced from just over 23 million when the Fab Five, Penny Hardaway and Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson were tearing it up in the early ’90s to more than 25 million when the NCAA supposedly was suffering from the absence of preps-to-pros prospects to more than 27 million during the one-and-done period.
