Michael Jordan will always be remembered for making the shot against Georgetown in 1982 that delivered legendary UNC basketball coach Dean Smith his first national championship. What most people don’t remember is that Jordan never would have had the opportunity to hit his historic jumper had it not been for the play of the team’s star, James Worthy. (North State Journal)
