Offensive lineman Avery Jones transfers from UNC to ECU

Former Havelock four-star recruit and North Carolina offensive lineman Avery Jones announced Friday he is transferring to East Carolina. The Havelock native completed his redshirt freshman season with the Tar Heels, which means he will have three years of eligibility remaining. Jones was offered by ECU out of high school, but he picked the Tar Heels.
