Derrick Phelps doesn’t get enough credit

In about five seconds you can name five revered UNC point guards. Ford, Black, Smith, Cota, Felton, Lawson, Marshall, Paige, Berry, White, and so on. How many of you thought the name “Derrick Phelps,” though? I’m going to guess not many, and that’s a shame because he was arguably one of the most important point guards to ever come to Chapel Hill.
