Patrice Rene’s Path Back

When the COVID-19 pandemic brought the sports world to a, Patrice Rene headed due north across the U.S. border to his hometown of Ottawa in the Ontario province of Canada. It was an inopportune time for Rene to leave Chapel Hill. He was six months into his rehabilitation process from a torn ACL that ended his senior season after only two games.
