For today's version of 'This Day in Recent Carolina Baseball History' we go back to 2008 and 2013 for a regional championship win starring Mark Fleury and a memorable rain delay, and a winner's bracket win starring Michael Russell over Towson. On June 1, 2008 it looked like the Tar Heels were going to be playing Elon in the regional championship game in Cary. (GoHeels.com)
