Tar Heels head west to Omaha again

After watching teammates lose teeth and crack skulls the past two years, North Carolina third baseman took a more careful approach to leading the celebratory NCAA Super Regional dogpile on Sunday. "I've been on the bottom three years in a row," he said after his team blew out Coastal Carolina 14-4. " So I know how to brace myself." He learned from experience -- which is fitting, because that's why the Tar Heels are going to their third straight College World series. (Raleigh News & Observer)
