NBA star Vince Carter, the same man whose nickname would one day become “Half-Man, Half-Amazing,” wasn’t that well known before his junior season. “Back when I was being recruited, I was a Florida kid and no one really associated Florida kids with basketball. I had to make sure I was going to camps so coaches and scouts knew what I could do.” (Inside Carolina)
