Vince Carter retiring means no more Dean Smith-coached players in NBA

From 1998-2020, Vince Carter played for eight different NBA teams, made eight NBA All-Star games and was an All-NBA selection twice. But his retirement also ends an incredible accomplishment for late North Carolina coaching legend Dean Smith. With Carter retiring, the NBA will not have a Dean Smith-coached player for the first time in 55 years.
