Barth regains his touch, confidence
Posted Nov 6, 2005
He said the first one was a relief. The second served as affirmation. And the third? Well, it was the one worth celebrating. North Carolina kicker Connor Barth got back on track Saturday afternoon, making all three of his field-goal attempts in UNC's 16-14 victory over No. 19 Boston College at Kenan Stadium. Barth, who had been 3-of-11 this season, connected from 20 yards in the first quarter, 22 yards in the second and 44 yards in the third.
