The history of UNC baseball at the MLB Draft

With Aaron Sabato’s first-round selection (27th overall) by the Minnesota Twins in Wednesday's MLB Draft, UNC has had 18 players selected in the first round over the years. (22 if you count the various secondary drafts that used to exist.) Three of those were taken in the top five, with B.J. Surhoff being the lone Tar Heel to be selected first overall. (Tar Heel Blog)
