The Tar Heels made 470 free throws to their opponents' 440. That means UNC has outscored opponents from the free throw line in 16 of 17 seasons under Roy Williams. Brandon Robinson came into the season as a career 66.7 percent free throw shooter. He increased his career average to 73.6 percent by shooting a career-high 82.6 percent last season.
