UNC defensive coordinator Jay Bateman is one of Mack Brown's most dependable recruiters. The Tar Heels' 2021 class is No. 2 in the ACC, and the group is heavy on in-state stars thanks to Bateman. He has landed commitments from three players at the athlete position and a trio of 4-star defenders in Dontavius Nash, RaRa Dillworth, and Keeshawn Silver.
