Andre Smith, Carolina Panthers to donate 600 Chromebooks to schools in need

When the pandemic struck, children's education became even more at risk. So former UNC linebacker Andre Smith and the Carolina Panthers' Impact Committee worked with the North Carolina Department of Public Institution to identify counties most in need. Now, Columbus County and Richmond County's school systems will each receive 300 Chromebooks. (Carolina Panthers)
