New football coach Bobby Rome building Field of Dreams at Central State

Just a month after Bobby Rome took over as football coach at Central State, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, closing the school and putting a financial strain on the university. The 34-year-old Rome, who came from Virginia University at Lynchburg after being starting fullback and team captain at UNC, spent almost every day of the shutdown working on the fields.
