UNC Soccer: Tar Heels in the NWSL Challenge Cup


The NWSL Challenge Cup kicked off with the defending champion North Carolina Courage playing the Portland Thorns. The Courage have a couple of notable Tar Heels in 2019 World Cup winners , who got the start, and , who was out due to injury. For Portland, Tar Heel got the start in a losing effort.
