UNC Soccer: Tar Heels in the NWSL Challenge Cup

The NWSL Challenge Cup kicked off with the defending champion North Carolina Courage playing the Portland Thorns. The Courage have a couple of notable Tar Heels in 2019 World Cup winners Crystal Dunn, who got the start, and Jessica McDonald, who was out due to injury. For Portland, Tar Heel Meghan Klingenberg got the start in a losing effort.
