Mack Brown's recruiting is building UNC into national contender

UNC football coach Mack Brown won his biggest recruiting battle to date Tuesday when the Tar Heels received a commitment from Virginia Beach 5-star defensive back Tony Grimes. As the No. 7 overall recruit, No. 1 cornerback, and No. 1 player in Virginia for the 2021 class, Grimes takes Brown's and the staff's recruiting success at UNC to another level.
