Utah football assistant Morgan Scalley retains job, but takes pay cut, after review of racial slur

Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley will retain his position after the school conducted an external review into his use of a racial slur in a 2013 text message, but he will take a significant pay cut and Utah has rescinded its offer for Scalley to become the head-coach-in-waiting at his alma mater, the school announced Wednesday.
