Early COVID-19 testing numbers low for NC State

Less than 2 percent of the athletes who have returned to NC State for workouts have tested positive for COVID-19. Five of the 315 athletes (or 1.6 percent) who have been tested since May 29 tested positive. The school released the numbers Thursday. All athletes from football and other fall and spring sports, were tested when they returned to campus.
