Drake Maye Represents Long-Term Success For UNC

Four-star quarterback Drake Maye originally committed to Alabama. This decision came at a crucial time for UNC. The Tar Heels were planning to build a class to contend with in 2021, but they hadn’t gotten ‘that guy’. Then Keeshawn Silver committed on March 3, considered by many the best defender in the state. A few days later, Maye flipped to UNC.
