Stats Show Sam Howell Has the Biggest Arm in College Football

North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell’s touchdown passes last season had an average length of 22 yards — tops in the nation. Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, who finished third in the country in Heisman voting last season, finished second with an average depth of 19.5 yards. Howell also led the nation in touchdown throws of over 30 yards with 15.
