UNC Linebacker Chazz Surratt Placed on Bednarik Award Watch List


North Carolina linebacker has been placed on the preseason watchlist for the Chuck Bednarik Award — given annually to the most outstanding defensive player in college football. Surratt turned heads last season with how easily he made the transition from quarterback to linebacker. The Denver, N.C. native finished 2019 with 115 tackles. (Inside Carolina)
