Daniel Bard is one of the most extraordinary people in an unprecedented baseball season. After performing impressively during Summer Camp and intrasquad games, Bard learned Friday he had made the Rockies’ 30-man Opening Day roster -- more than seven years after his most recent Major League appearance, with the Red Sox on April 27, 2013.
