Trimane Goddard has career game for Tar Heels
Posted Oct 30, 2005
Trimane Goddard took advantage of his second career start for the North Carolina Tar Heels. The former Roanoke High School standout made his first trip to Miami a memorable one, even though it came in a 34-16 loss to the No. 6 Hurricanes in Saturday’s ACC action. Goddard finished with two interceptions and a career-high nine tackles. The interceptions were the first two of his college career. “It felt great to get those two,” Goddard said Saturday evening. “I just went crazy after I got the first one.”
