Mack Brown Intends To Keep Listening To His Players When It Comes To Social Justice

North Carolina football coach Mack Brown grew up in Cookeville, Tenn., a small town of 34,000 residents about a 75-minute drive east of Nashville. Brown has spent a lifetime in athletics, including the past five decades in college football. That dates to his time (1969-70) as a highly recruited running back who signed with nearby Vanderbilt University.
