Mack Brown had already joined the growing list of college football coaches downplaying the relevance of starting lineups long before COVID-19 struck in March, preferring to talk about blue teams and white teams to soften the separation of depth charts. The pandemic has only furthered that cause as coaching staffs enter the re-imagined 2020 season.
