UNC Football Players Opting In for Love of the Game, Chance to Improve

While three players (defensive backs D.J. Ford, Bryce Watts, and Javon Terry) opted out for the 2020 season, the vast majority of Carolina's players have made the decision to play. It was a decision made for the love of the game, love of competition, and the goal of getting better. "We 100 percent respect their decision," senior safety Myles Wolfolk said.
