Connor Barth's still looking for top form
Posted Oct 26, 2005
Connor Barth was a hero against Miami last season, kicking the game-winning 42-yard field goal in North Carolina's 31-28 victory over the Hurricanes. As the teams prepare to meet Saturday, Barth is trying to recapture the feeling that helped him make 14 of 18 field-goal attempts as a freshman. "Last year, I really didn't think about anything. I was a freshman and didn't really know what to expect. I just went out and kicked the ball. I think that's what I need to start doing again, just go out there and kick it like I know how to do."
