Jeremiah Francis receives waiver to play immediately at New Mexico

Former UNC point guard Jeremiah Francis was cleared by the NCAA on Saturday, making him immediately eligible to play for New Mexico after entering the transfer portal in April. As a freshman at UNC, Francis played in 16 of 33 games; he got his first start on December 30, 2019, the night Roy Williams won game number 879 and tied his mentor, Dean Smith.
