North Carolina linebacker Eugene Asante came on late his freshman season in 2019. The Chantilly, Va. native appeared in all 13 games last year but recorded all of his 12 tackles over the season's final four contests. After adding nine pounds of muscle this offseason, Asante has grabbed the attention of cornerbacks coach and fellow Virginia native Dré Bly.
