Mack Brown sees promising signs for football’s starting point

While chatting with a member of the crew that refereed one of North Carolina’s football scrimmages during the past week, coach Mack Brown happened upon another encouraging checkpoint in the winding journey toward a hopeful fall season. The official told Brown he had received the assignments for the first four games he’s scheduled to work. (Burlington Times-News)
