Former UNC basketball recruit Thaddeus Young reportedly committed about two weeks ago to North Carolina, following an earlier visit to the Chapel Hill campus. Soon thereafter, Brentwood Academy star Brandan Wright offered to commit to North Carolina and the Tar Heels ended their recruitment of Young.
