Tar Heels lose Jacoby Watkins for season with injury
Posted Oct 24, 2005
Injury has struck North Carolina's defense again and sidelined a second starter for the rest of the season. Jacoby Watkins, a cornerback, broke a bone in his lower right leg in Saturday's 7-5 win over Virginia at Kenan Stadium. Quinton Person, a sophomore, will likely take over Watkins' starting job.
