Pittsburgh Steelers release wide receiver Ryan Switzer


On Saturday afternoon, was among the notable players released by the Steelers as the team cut their roster down to 53. Switzer, a former fourth round pick out of the University of North Carolina and a relative of college football and NFL champion head coach Barry Switzer, had spent two seasons with the Steelers after being traded from the Oakland Raiders.
