Jarwarski Pollock: The little Tar Heel with a big agenda
Posted Oct 22, 2005
Jarwarski Pollock says that, honestly, he stands 5 feet, 7 inches ... "and some change." Those tiny fractions of an inch are open to debate. But Pollock doesn't sweat the small stuff, like his height measurement, anymore. The North Carolina senior can eclipse Na Brown's school record for receptions in a career with six catches today against Virginia. That would be no small feat for a guy who has overcome daunting challenges -- in academics as well as in football -- through his determination to satisfy a promise to his mother and a fearlessness that belies his physical stature.
