UNC Field Hockey Picked Atop ACC Preseason Poll

Two-time defending national champion North Carolina has been selected to finish atop the 2020 Atlantic Coast Conference fall field hockey standings in a vote of the league's seven head coaches, and two Tar Heels – junior Erin Matson and senior Eva Smolenaars – have been named to the preseason All-ACC team, announced on Wednesday by the league.
