Rockies’ closer Daniel Bard is 6-for-6 in save opportunities and manager Bud Black is not surprised
Posted Sep 9, 2020
Daniel Bard is now the closer and he’s thriving in that high-pressure role. He has six saves in six opportunities, including back-to-back saves at Los Angeles on Saturday and Sunday as the Rockies finally won a series over the Dodgers. Since allowing a walk-off homer in a 4-3 loss on Aug. 22 at Dodger Stadium, Bard has five saves while allowing one run.
