Six future Tar Heels selected to Shrine Bowl

The University of North Carolina did well recruiting its top in-state players. The Tar Heels have commitments from the following Shrine Bowl selectees: Charlotte Independence WR Hakeem Nicks, Jacksonville White Oak DB Deunte Williams, Asheville RB Johnny White, Winston-Salem Mount Tabor TE Ryan Taylor and Shelby DB Tavvoris Jolly.
