3 Stars: UNC-Syracuse

- One game in and it appears Carter is faster, more explosive, shiftier and quicker. He was outstanding running the ball seven times for 78 yards (long of 45) and catching six passes for 60 yards. He even returned two kickoffs for an average of 20 yards per return. Carter didn’t get into the end zone but he was easily one of the best players on the field. (Tar Heel Illustrated)
