State of North Carolina struggling in football

By most definitions, the Atlantic Coast Conference's epicenter is in North Carolina. The league office is in Greensboro. One-third of the member schools are in North Carolina. A bulk of ACC history is deep-rooted within the towering pines of the state. But college football continues to struggle in making an imprint. This season, it's the center of dismay within the ACC.
