Disenchanted with the modern world, Michael Lees (UNC '15) heads into the forest of his Caribbean homeland of Dominica with some survival gear, religious texts, and a camera. Just as he starts to acclimatize to his new life, the unexpected happens: Category 5 Hurricane Maria. He documented his experience in his new film, "Uncivilized" (IMDb, Trailer). (Uncivilized)
