Rust-resistant Heels? QB says gap between games will improve UNC offense

UNC has played only one football game in the last 278 days, and recently has been stuck in the program’s longest layoff during a regular season in 68 years. But neither the accumulation of rust nor the corrosion of chemistry has become a concern for quarterback Sam Howell, as the 12th-ranked Tar Heels approach Saturday’s game at Boston College.
