The No. 1 UNC women's soccer team jumped out to an early lead over No. 3 Clemson on Thursday and earned a 2-0 victory at Dorrance Field (Highlights). Clemson had not surrendered a goal in 2020, but Sam Meza quickly ended that with her first career goal in the sixth minute. Rachel Jones put the Tar Heels up 2-0 in the 25th minute off a penalty kick.
