Tar Heels add top-10 post player Brandan Wright
Posted Oct 17, 2005
Lanky, athletic Brandan Wright became North Carolina's third top-10 basketball commitment after visiting Chapel Hill and attending the "Late Night with Roy" celebration over the weekend. Wright, a 6-foot-9 post player from Brentwood Academy in Tennessee, is rated the fifth-best prospect in the nation. Tamiko Wright, Brandan's mother, said Sunday night that Brandan liked North Carolina's campus, coaches and players. She said he knows some of the players already committed to the Tar Heels and likes them as well.
