Matt Baker surpassing expectations

Heading into the season, questions surrounding North Carolina's football team centered on quarterback Matt Baker. Was he good enough to give the Tar Heels a chance to win? Could a guy who has sat on the bench his whole career command the respect of his teammates? Would he be able to do more than hand off the ball and manage a game? Five games into the regular season, it's safe to put a check mark in the box for yes, yes and yes.
