Don Chapman finds home at North Carolina

As a senior at Lincoln High, Don Chapman did everything. He took snaps at quarterback. He lined up in the slot. And he returned kicks and punts. “But I’ve always considered myself a defender,” Chapman said. Now a sophomore at UNC, Chapman is starting at strong safety for the No. 8 Tar Heels, who face a big ACC game Saturday against Virginia Tech.
